About Tim Edington
Tim Edington is a fine art wildlife photographer and landscape photographer whose work is shaped by a lifelong connection to nature. Based in Missouri and inspired by the Ozark Mountains, he photographs wildlife, landscapes, and quiet outdoor moments that are often easy to overlook. His collection also reflects years spent exploring Texas and photographing scenes throughout North America and Europe.
After spending several decades in Texas, Tim returned to Missouri, where the outdoors once again became a central part of his daily life and creative work. His appreciation for nature began early. His father studied forestry at the University of Missouri, while his mother helped inspire the interest in photography that would remain with him throughout his life. Today, Tim is rarely far from a camera, always attentive to changing light, movement, and the unexpected moments that make a scene memorable.
Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and further developed his photographic perspective through study with the Smithsonian Institution in Grand Teton National Park. His photography has been exhibited in Missouri and Texas, with work displayed in museums, galleries, and courthouses.

OUr mission
My mission is to create fine art photography that helps people see the natural world with greater attention and appreciation. Through wildlife, landscapes, and quiet moments in nature, I aim to preserve scenes that may otherwise pass unnoticed. Each photograph is created with patience, respect, and a focus on the light, movement, and atmosphere that make a moment unique. More than simply documenting what is in front of the camera, my work is intended to create a lasting connection between the viewer and the places, wildlife, and experiences captured within each frame.

TIM EDINGTON’S JOURNEY
Tim Edington’s journey with photography grew from an early appreciation for nature into a lifelong commitment to observing and preserving the world through his camera.
