About Tim Edington
Tim Edington, a fine art photographer, invites you to explore his collection, which primarily focuses on wildlife and landscapes. Many of the featured images are from his home town, the Ozark Mountains in Missouri, though his work also encompasses scenes from Texas, North America, and Europe.
After returning to Missouri following decades in Texas, Edington continues to immerse himself in outdoor photography, a passion that is indulged daily yet never fully satisfied. Growing up with a father who majored in forestry at the University of Missouri, he developed a deep appreciation for nature. Inspired by his mother, Edington is rarely seen without a camera, making photography his lifelong dedication.
Edington holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and has studied with the Smithsonian Institution in Grand Teton National Park. His work has been exhibited in Missouri and Texas, with pieces displayed in museums, galleries, and courthouses.
With an innate talent for capturing fleeting, magical moments often overlooked by others, Edington’s images resonate deeply with his audience, revealing beauty in the smallest details.
